Instituto Conecta Cactus has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting older people through a campaign marking the conclusion of Brazil’s Purple June awareness month, highlighting the importance of dignity, respect and care for the country’s aging population.

In a social media post, the institute stressed that violence against older people does not always begin with physical abuse, but can also take the form of neglect, indifference and social isolation.

“Growing old with dignity should not be a privilege. It should be a right,” the organization said.

The institute used the campaign to reinforce its ongoing support for São Vicente de Paulo Care Home in the municipality of Pompéu, where it helps fund activities through its Alimentando Vidas program. According to the organization, the initiative seeks to strengthen the home’s services while improving the quality of life of elderly residents.

“We believe that protecting the elderly goes far beyond combating violence. It's about ensuring presence, respect, support, and the conditions necessary for each person to live this stage of life with the dignity they deserve,” stated the company.

The organization added that caring for older generations reflects the values of society as a whole, reaffirming its commitment to initiatives that promote inclusion and wellbeing for vulnerable communities.

Earlier this month, the institute announced its support for Champions League InterCAPS 2026, a futsal tournament promoting inclusion and wellbeing for people receiving treatment through Brazil’s Psychosocial Care Network.

Separately, Cactus Gaming has continued expanding its commercial operations, recently strengthening its content portfolio through a partnership with Hacksaw Gaming that added more than 100 new casino titles to its platform.
