MiFinity has appointed Ray Brash as the organisation’s new Group COO, where he is set to lead product, project management and payments functions, as well as support continued expansion and innovation. 

“Ray brings a wealth of experience and leadership in the payments industry, and we’re delighted to welcome him to MiFinity. His experience of building and scaling payment organisations will be invaluable as we continue our growth journey,” MiFinity CEO Paul Kavanagh said. 

“We’ve built strong momentum over recent years, and Ray’s appointment reinforces our commitment to investing in exceptional leadership, delivering operational excellence and creating even greater value for our customers, merchants and partners.” 

Prior to joining MiFinity, Brash most recently served as COO of CleverCards for nearly two years, and is a Founding Member of the The Payments Association and Inclusion Foundation.

Brash also founded SesantiPay in March 2022, and currently maintains investor and advisor positions with SpriveApp and ekko. 

Speaking on his new appointment, Brash said: “I’ve followed MiFinity’s growth with great interest over recent years and have been impressed by both its ambition and the strength of its proposition. The business has established an outstanding platform for future growth, with a talented team, an expanding global customer base and a genuine commitment to innovation.

Brash will also look to play a “central role” in driving operational performance across MiFinity to help shape long-term growth strategy. 

On 1 July, Aristocrat Interactive appointed former Light & Wonder executive Daniel O’Donoghue as the supplier’s new COO, having also worked with global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal in a Senior Director of Corporate Transformation Services role.
