Konami Gaming has unveiled its latest financial results, reporting a revenue of JP¥129.5bn ($810m) for the three-month period ending June 30.
The supplier has outlined that, over the course of Q1 fiscal year (FY) 2027, growth was recorded across all company segments. Indeed, the overall revenue figure reported by Konami represents a year-over-year upswing of 33.6% and comes alongside a reported operating profit figure of JP¥45.3bn.
As such, Konami has maintained its full-year financial expectation figures of JP¥505bn and JP¥143bn for revenue and operating profit, respectively.
Over the course of the Q1 period, Konami’s Digital Entertainment segment was a key revenue driver, accounting for JP¥100.1bn of the supplier’s overall revenue figure – up 36.5% year-over-year. Elsewhere, the company’s sports segment drove out a revenue figure of JP¥12.7bn, up 5.2% in comparison to the same period of the prior year.
Konami’s Gaming & Systems segment recorded the highest revenue upswing, rising 64.9% in comparison to FY Q1 2025, settling at JP¥12.4bn, while Arcade Game revenue also rose 8.3% to JP¥4.3bn.
This latest update falls in the wake of Konami Gaming’s submission of a manufacturer license application across all applicable categories with Japan’s gaming regulator earlier this month – which made the company the first supplier to formally apply for multiple Japanese casino licenses.
Elsewhere, during the fiscal year Q1 period, the supplier also launched its Synkros casino management system across all 29 Carnival Cruise Line ships, granting guests access to personalized rewards, offers, bonuses and cashless wagering on board. An additional key company development in recent years saw Konami secure a gaming-related vendor license in the United Arab Emirates ahead of the country's first integrated resort opening in 2027.
