The rollout builds on Paysafe's existing eCash support for Boosteroid in Europe, aligning with Brazil's sustained use of both instant payments and cash-based vouchers

Paysafe has expanded its partnership with cloud gaming provider Boosteroid to enable Brazilian customers to pay for subscriptions using Pix and Boleto Bancário through the payment platform's SafetyPay integration.

The integration allows Brazilian gamers to access Boosteroid's library of more than 1,700 PC games using local payment methods. Pix, the instant payment system operated by the Brazilian Central Bank, is used by 76.4% of Brazilians, while Boleto Bancário offers a voucher-based option for cash transactions.

Boosteroid customers selecting Pix at checkout can complete payments through their banking app by scanning a QR code or entering a Pix key, with access to the game library granted in near real-time. The Boleto Bancário option generates a voucher that can be paid in cash at bank branches, lottery agencies and retail locations throughout Brazil.

Paysafe's PaysafeCard eCash solution already serves as a payment method for Boosteroid across Europe. The addition of Brazilian payment options follows research from the Brazilian Central Bank indicating that 68.9% of Brazilians continue to use cash for transactions.

Boosteroid offers cloud gaming access through native apps and web browsers across multiple devices. The service operates on monthly and annual subscription models.

Rob Gatto, CRO at Paysafe, said: "With over two decades' experience streamlining payments for video gaming, it's coded into our DNA as a company, so we're delighted to strengthen our partnership with Boosteroid, a true innovator when it comes to technology, games and entertainment.

"By tailoring Boosteroid's checkout to include the local payment solutions Brazilian gamers expect to see when transacting online, we hope to help the gaming provider grow its player-base and broader revenue in Latin America's largest economy."

Artem Skoryi, VP of Business Development at Boosteroid, said: "We strive to make high-quality gaming accessible to as many people as possible. With Paysafe, we are delivering on that commitment for our growing community in Brazil. Integrating popular local payment methods creates an intuitive and user-friendly experience, ensuring that gamers can easily access our platform and enjoy their favourite titles."
