Continent 8 Technologies has appointed Mike Small as its new CEO. Founder Michael Tobin will transition to the role of Chairman after serving as CEO for 28 years.

Small joins Continent 8 with more than 25 years of technology leadership experience. Before joining the company, he served as President of Akkodis North America and US Country President of The Adecco Group, where he oversaw technology, engineering, managed services and workforce solutions operations.

During his tenure, Small was involved in developing the organisation’s AI strategy, focusing on the use of artificial intelligence to support customer innovation and operational improvements.

Previously, Small served as Americas CEO Americas for Sitel Group and held senior leadership roles at IBM, Hewlett Packard and Capgemini.

Over the past year, Small has worked as a Strategic Board Advisor to Continent 8, supporting the executive leadership team.
