Argentina's Chaco provincial lottery has signed a cooperation agreement to help fund an accommodation project for its network of ticket agents.
Governor Leandro Zdero announced the initiative during an event in Resistencia marking Chaco's Día del Agenciero y Subagenciero de Lotería Chaqueña.
Under the agreement, Lotería Chaqueña will contribute funding for the first phase of construction of an accommodation facility being built by the Asociación de Agentes y Subagentes in Presidencia Roque Sáenz Peña.
Disbursements will be made in four stages as construction progresses and contractual requirements are met.
The project includes enclosure work and completion of dormitories intended to accommodate agents traveling from across the province for medical care or administrative procedures in Sáenz Peña.
Leandro Zdero, Governor of Chaco, said: "We are here to reaffirm Lotería Chaqueña's commitment to continue working together and recognizing the Association's role."
Lucas Apud Masín, President of Lotería Chaqueña, said: "You are the commercial network that represents Lotería Chaqueña in every city, town and community across Chaco."
Juan Carlos Müller, President of the Asociación de Agentes y Subagentes de Lotería Chaqueña, said: "It is truly a pleasure to have this support to make a project that has been a dream for many years become a reality."
The date commemorates Provincial Law No. 1,253 of 1973, which authorized the official organization and operation of the Quiniela game in Chaco.
Lotería Chaqueña is part of Argentina's nationwide .bet.ar initiative, which identifies authorized online gambling platforms and helps distinguish them from illegal operators
