The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Tour has named Polymarket as its official prediction market provider, granting the operator exclusive streaming rights for all matches within the event contract trading vertical.

"Tennis is a natural fit for prediction markets, with momentum shifting point by point and every match creating opportunities for expectations to change in real time," Polymarket President of Sports Business Development Ari Borod said.

"By combining live ATP streaming with official data and prediction markets in one place, we're creating a more dynamic product allowing fans to experience and trade on markets relating to the game as it unfolds. We're excited to work with TDI and Sportradar to introduce this new experience across the Tour, while working closely with tennis governing bodies to help protect the integrity of the sport."

The agreement was formed with Tennis Data Innovations, an independent joint venture between ATP Tour and ATP Media Holdings which is responsible for managing, collecting and commercializing the organization's official data and streaming rights.

Registered Polymarket users in the US will have the ability to watch live ATP matches alongside opportunities to trade on relevant prediction markets, with official real-time data, odds and settlements provided by the Tour’s exclusive distribution partner, Sportradar.

Tennis Data Innovations CEO David Lampitt also spoke on the new partnership, having said, "The way people follow and engage with sports continues to evolve, and we want tennis to be at the forefront of that change.

"Polymarket has emerged as a leader in its category, and we're excited to welcome them as the official prediction market provider of the ATP Tour and give fans another way to connect with the sport throughout the season."

Polymarket will leverage Sportradar's integrity services as part of the collaboration, which covers 20,000 matches per ATP season – including major events such as Indian Wells, the Miami Open, the Cincinnati Open and the Nitto ATP Finals.

On July 10, Polymarket launched combo trading for users of the prediction market platform, allowing event contract traders to “bundle multiple market positions” into a single “yes” or “no” position.

The offering appears to be a direct competitor to parlay wagers in traditional sports betting, especially given Polymarket has currently restricted combo trading to sports-specific markets.
