Wynn Resorts has unveiled plans to launch the operator’s first-ever beachfront destination at Wynn Al Marjan Island, set to feature 550 metres of shoreline, 319 metres of reef, three beach environments, 61 cabanas and 327 lounge chairs.
“This is unlike anything in our portfolio. As Wynn Resorts' first beachfront destination, it's a chance to create something entirely new,” Wynn Resorts stated as part of a social media post announcing the development.
“Wynn Beach will unfold across three distinct worlds - Resort Beach, Adult Beach and Enclave Beach - from intimate shaded cabanas to a private bungalow with its own plunge pool and butler service. Each with its own rhythm.”
Wynn Beach currently has a scheduled opening date projected for 2027, while the operator also confirmed engineered reef units are forming a new marine habitat to grow a living ecosystem alongside the resort.
Wynn Resorts also began construction on Janu Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah on 28 July, which will expand the hospitality offering surrounding the UAE's emerging integrated gaming resort destination.
Marjan and Wynn Resorts marked the start of work with a groundbreaking ceremony attended by representatives from both companies, Aman Group and other project stakeholders.
Scheduled to open in 2029, the development will include a luxury hotel, branded residences and a range of wellness-focused facilities, with international architecture firm SCDA Architects responsible for its design.
Wynn Al Marjan Island strengthened its executive team with the appointment of Andrea Aguirre-Jugueta as VP of Private Access in July, marking yet another senior leadership addition ahead of the integrated resort's planned opening.
