DoubleDown Interactive and High Roller Technologies have each reported their financial results for the second quarter and first-half of 2025, with High Roller confirming plans to advance its prediction market strategy in the US.
Despite the opportunities which remain with prediction markets, High Roller reported a net revenue decrease of 51.6% during Q2 to $2.8m, while the operator also witnessed a net loss of $2.4m.
High Roller’s adjusted EBITDA for Q2 resulted in a loss of $1.8m, increasing from the $0.2m loss recorded for the second quarter of 2025. For H1, High Roller’s revenue decreased 43.8% to $6.2m, as the operator also reported a $3.1m adjusted EBITDA loss during the first-half period.

Net loss totaled just over $5.3m for H1 2026, rising from a $4.9m loss generated for the first half of 2025.
To drive its prediction market operations, High Roller formed a definitive agreement with Crypto.com and Derivatives North America, as well as acquired the ROLR.com domain in May 2026.
DoubleDown Interactive reported more positive results for Q2 and H1 2026, witnessing a quarterly revenue increase of 11.2% for a total of $94.3m. The operator’s adjusted EBITDA for Q2 increased 17.3% to $39.3m, while profit for the period rose 50.9% to $32.9m.
Average monthly and daily users both increased for DoubleDown during the second quarter of 2026, rising to 1,252 players and 597 users, respectively.
For H1 2026, DoubleDown's revenue increased 11.9% to $188.4m, as adjusted EBITDA climbed 20.7% to $77.5m. Profit for the period grew 49.5% to $68.3m, even while operating expenses increased 9.6% to $116.5m.

In April, DoubleU Games submitted a proposal to acquire all remaining publicly held shares in DoubleDown Interactive, offering $11.25 per American Depositary Share in a deal valued at approximately $184m.
The proposal remains non-binding and is subject to approval by the stated committee, as well as customary closing conditions such as shareholder approval thresholds.
