Catena Media has reported its financial results for the second quarter and first half of 2026, as revenue and adjusted EBITDA during the quarterly period decreased year-on-year due to the persistence of organic search headwinds.

For Q2, revenue decreased 1% to €9.5m (US$11m), while adjusted EBITDA fell 11% for a total of €1.2m. North America operations managed to increase revenue by 6%, however, reporting €9.2m for Q2 2026.

Catena Media’s EBITDA from continuing operations decreased 46% to €1.2m, although new depositing customers grew by 23% during Q2 to 24,781.

CEO Manuel Stan addressed the softer Q2 performance from Catena Media, having said, “These results reflect industry-wide headwinds in organic search and mark a pause after several quarters of strong operating performance.

“The quarterly revenue decline underlines a structural reality facing our industry: traditional affiliation remains closely tied to the shifting dynamics of organic search.”
