Plaza Hotel & Casino – located in Downtown Las Vegas – has released plans to unveil a new high-limit slots area on August 28 and 29 to help ‘meet the changing needs’ of its clientele, featuring a $10,000 grand opening slot tournament.
The new high-limit gaming area features over 50 slot machines with increased maximum bets, as well as personalized guest services which offer exclusive capabilities for the casino’s “higher-end” players.
“With the new High Limit Slots Room, we wanted to not only provide the newest and most popular games with higher limits but also focus on personalized customer service, such as hotel check-in and a dedicated concierge desk,” Plaza Hotel & Casino CEO Jonathan Jossel said.
“The Plaza continues to diversify its offerings to meet the changing needs of our guests. We specifically have seen our slot business continue to grow as we are welcoming more higher-end players and many of our longstanding guests have asked for this gaming amenity.”
Plaza Players Club members will be able to check-in to their respective hotel rooms directly from the high-limit slots room, while a concierge desk is also provided to assist with reservations, upgrades and general recommendations.
The Downtown Las Vegas property has partnered with influencer Travel Ruby to host the $10,000 grand opening tournament and offer players the chance to win a Virgin Cruise experience.
Plans to unveil the new high-limit slots area were originally released in the spring, while Jossel previously took part in an exclusive interview with Global Gaming Insider to discuss the property's desire to expand gaming offerings on April 10.
Jossel confirmed The Plaza Hotel & Casino had received requests from “new higher-end players and longstanding customers” to construct an exclusive slot play area.
