Circus.nl has deployed Mindway AI’s GameScanner to help in early identification of risky behaviour
Human monitoring and privacy remain an integral part of the approach

Dutch online gambling operator Circus.nl has deployed Mindway AI’s GameScanner technology. Gaming1 Group partially operates Circus.nl. The deployment forms part of the operator’s expanded safer gambling approach.

Powered by artificial intelligence and grounded in neuroscience research, GameScanner analyses player behaviour to help identify potentially risky behaviours at an earlier stage.

GameScanner has been integrated with ROBIN (Responsible Online Behaviours Indicators Network), Gaming1’s responsible gaming platform. The unification brings together GameScanner’s independent behavioural analysis with ROBIN’s intervention capabilities.

The solution is designed to give Circus.nl’s teams behavioural insights to support faster and more customised interventions.

Circus stated on its official LinkedIn account: “For our operations teams, it means clearer, more actionable information to guide decision-making, while ensuring human oversight and adherence to our high standards of privacy protection.”

Mindway AI is a Danish software company that develops technology to detect and monitor indicators of at-risk and problem gambling behaviour. The company has partnered with a range of gambling operators and suppliers across international markets.

Last month, Mindway AI partnered with Gamscore. Through the collaboration, both organisations said they hope to help operators ‘foster player trust, encourage sustainable betting habits and complement existing safer gambling initiatives.’

Earlier this year, DraftKings partnered with Mindway AI to integrate the responsible gambling solution provider’s Gamalyze tool. The solution evaluates real-time decision-making through a simulated card game, providing objective insights concerning players.

Late last year, Mindway AI also deployed its solutions at Crown Resorts, including GameScanner. The implementation marked the first land-based application of Mindway AI’s technology in Australia and remains one of the system's largest global implementations.
