Ed Sanderson has stepped into the role of VP, Arena at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.

He will work on an Arena project, with the venue scheduled to open in 2031 as part of a wider development that will also include a 570-suite luxury hotel tower, 200,000 sq ft of MICE space and a range of high-end dining options.

The Arena is expected to have 15,000 seats. Marina Bay Sands aims to address a current market gap for an appropriately sized arena with modern amenities for artists, individual ticket buyers and corporate hospitality.

Commenting on his new role and the Arena project in a LinkedIn post, Sanderson said: “Looking forward to supporting our highly capable project team through construction and building a great operations team to deliver amazing events.”
