Maryland Lottery and Gaming has reported the state’s total casino revenue for September 2026, as commercial operators generated $151.4m during the monthly period, equating to a slight decrease of 0.1%.
MGM National Harbor managed to lead all properties with nearly $63.9m of revenue for September, having increased 1.1% year-over-year. Live! Casino & Hotel followed the MGM Resorts establishment with $54.1m of revenue for September, but decreased 1.4%.
Horseshoe Casino Baltimore and Rocky Gap Casino also reported decreases in revenue during September – falling by 6.8% and 0.2%, respectively, for totals of $13.1m and $4.6m.
Ocean Downs Casino managed to account for just over $8.9m of revenue during the monthly period and increased 6%, while Hollywood Casino Perryville grew revenue 6.3% to $6.7m.

Despite the fall in Maryland’s total casino revenue for September 2026, the state’s gaming contributions still increased 1.8% to $65m, including $47.6m to the Education Trust Fund.
Casino proceeds from Maryland’s commercial operators also assist the communities and jurisdictions where the properties are located, Maryland’s horse racing industry and small, minority- and women-owned businesses.
Maryland’s total sports betting activity for August also decreased year-over-year, as operators managed to generate $35.2m of revenue during the monthly period, equating to a fall of 22.6%.
Online wagering operations accounted for the vast majority of sports betting revenue in Maryland after producing nearly $34.7m for August but still reported a decrease of 21.5%.
Retail sports betting accounted for just $544,916 of the state’s sports betting revenue for August, representing a decrease of 59.9%.
