Bragg Gaming CEO Matevž Mazij will transition from the Chief Executive position to a Strategic Advisor role with the supplier, while Morten Tonnesen was named Interim CEO following his departure.
"On behalf of the Board, I want to thank Matevž for his service as (CEO) and for everything he has built at Bragg. He founded Oryx, successfully merged it into the company and has led Bragg through a demanding period in the industry. We are pleased that he will continue to contribute his knowledge of the business in his new role," Bragg Gaming Chairman Matt Davey said.
"The Board’s focus for the next phase is on disciplined execution, improving balance sheet strength, operating cash flow and development and deployment of market leading technology, content and services. Morten has the operational experience to deliver against those tests, and the Board has full confidence in him."
Mazij was originally named Bragg Gaming CEO in August 2023, but will now provide guidance to the supplier’s Board of Directors on strategic matters as part of his new position.
Tonnesen joined Bragg Gaming as an Advisor to Mazij in November 2025 prior to being named COO during March 2026. Before serving with Bragg, Tonnesen worked as Chief Growth Officer for Xtremepush from March 2024 through September 2025.
Speaking on his Interim appointment, Tonnesen said: "The quality of what is already here is what makes this a fantastic opportunity. Strong technology, growing proprietary content and a licensed footprint across more than 30 regulated markets.
“My focus is execution, delivering for our operator partners and running a simpler and more focused business. I want to thank Matevž for his support through this transition and for what he has built."
In June, Bragg Gaming announced the results of its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, with shareholders voting on the re-election of the supplier’s Board of Directors and other corporate matters.
