Light & Wonder has announced the appointment of Rohan Gallagher as EVP and Global Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, effective immediately.
The newly created position will see Gallagher oversee investor relations, environmental and social governance, corporate social responsibility and global communications from the company's Sydney office.
Gallagher joins Light & Wonder from ANZ investment bank Jarden Group, where he served as Managing Director within their Institutional Equities division. His role encompassed leadership responsibilities across sales, research and corporate broking functions.
The appointment comes as Light & Wonder prepares to transition to sole listing on the Australian Securities Exchange, having announced plans to delist from Nasdaq by November 2025.
The new hire brings extensive gaming industry experience, having previously spent four years at Aristocrat as General Manager of Investor Relations & Treasury. He also held similar roles at Ampol for over five years and spent 12 years at Credit Suisse Australia.
Commenting on the new appointment, CFO Oliver Chow stated: "As Light & Wonder transitions to a sole listing on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), having Rohan's wealth of experience and leadership in Corporate Affairs will be instrumental for us, both in the Australian market and across the world.
"I've worked with Rohan for many years in different capacities, and his knowledge of the gaming industry and what it takes to succeed are unparalleled."
Gallagher himself added: "This is a pivotal moment for Light & Wonder, and I couldn't be more excited to work with the team to complement the significant work that they have already done across IR, ESG, CSR and Communications.
"The Company's legacy of creating the world's best games, coupled with its desire to further enhance stakeholder engagement, deeply align with my passions and experience.
"I look forward to amplifying Light & Wonder's voice, strengthening connections with its communities and driving meaningful change that supports L&W's next level of growth."
The appointment follows other recent leadership changes in the sector, including the announcement that Dylan Slaney is set to depart from Light & Wonder to become CEO of Aristocrat Interactive in November 2025.
