Maryland Lottery and Gaming has reported the state's online and retail sports wagering results for November 2025, as operators combined to generate a 21.3% increase in revenue for a total of just over $95.4m.
Online sports betting operations accounted for the vast majority of November revenue, generating $93.3m and increasing 21.5%. Retail sports betting managed to produce an additional $1.5m of revenue for November, representing a 10.5% increase year-over-year.
Throughout the monthly period, Maryland bettors generated a total handle of $720.2m, equating to growth of 12.6%. Online betting accounted for nearly $707.3m of the state's total handle for November, while retail operations generated the remaining $12.9m.
The sports betting revenue reported for November 2025 also equates to a hold percentage of 13.5% for licensed operators, the highest single-month return since the launch of sports wagering in Maryland nearly four years prior.
Operators managed to contribute just over $19m to the state's General Fund, Blueprint for Maryland's Future Fund and Problem Gambling Fund throughout November, representing growth of 61.1% from the prior year period.
Retail operators contribute 15% of all taxable proceeds to the Blueprint for Maryland's Future Fund, while online entities contribute 15% of revenue to the Blueprint Fund and an additional 5% to the General Fund.
Online operations paid out more than $611.5m in winnings to Maryland bettors, equating to an increase of 13.1%, while retail operators paid out nearly $11.4m for a decrease of 32.8%.
Maryland Lottery and Gaming also reported the state's total casino revenue for November on December 6, as the six properties which report to the regulator combined to generate $158.8m for an increase of 0.4%.
