Meridianbet has confirmed a content distribution agreement with fast betting content supplier BETER, integrating esports and short duration sports tournaments into its sportsbook platform across 18 licensed jurisdictions.
Under the agreement, Meridianbet will roll out BETER's ESportsBattle series and Setka Cup table tennis tournaments in markets including Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Peru, alongside additional European, African and South American territories where the operator maintains both retail and online operations.
BETER's portfolio includes esports competitions across eFootball, eBasketball, eHockey and eTennis, alongside sports formats such as Setka Cup table tennis, BSKT Cup basketball, GTR Cup tennis, padel and cricket.
The supplier delivers live streamed events with real time data and odds, producing approximately 700,000 events per year with multiple betting markets per fixture.
Meridianbet said the integration supports its omni channel distribution model, allowing the same content library to be offered across retail venues, desktop platforms and mobile applications.
The approach enables the operator to deploy new content consistently across jurisdictions, while maintaining operational efficiency.
Fast betting formats have become an increasingly prominent segment of sportsbook activity, driven by high-frequency events with short match durations. These formats typically encourage higher session frequency compared with traditional pre-match wagering, particularly among players seeking rapid cycle betting products.
BETER operates an exclusive tournament model, controlling event production, streaming and data distribution. This structure allows operators to access proprietary content rather than relying solely on third party sports data feeds, providing differentiation in competitive regulated markets.
In 2024, executives from Meridianbet and parent group Golden Matrix Group highlighted its business scaling approach during a Global Gaming Insider Huddle interview, outlining a focus on profitability, controlled growth and selective content investment across international markets.
Golden Matrix Group acquired a controlling stake in Meridianbet following a protracted merger process, positioning the operator as a core B2C asset within the group's international strategy.
Meridianbet operates across regulated markets in Europe, Africa and Latin America, with its sportsbook forming a central component of Golden Matrix Group's consumer facing portfolio
