FanDuel has expanded upon its partnership with Main Street Sports Group, the owner of FanDuel Sports Network, to introduce new bet tracking capabilities for select NBA and NHL games.
The bet tracking software is now live for FanDuel users in markets where online sports betting has previously been legalized, and was made available through account linking technology using direct-to-consumer or pay-TV credentials.
"The integration of Bet Tracking into live NBA and NHL games on FanDuel Sports Network represents another significant milestone in our partnership and our commitment to delivering an unparalleled viewing experience to fans," FanDuel President of Sports Mike Raffensperger said.
"Over the past year, our partnership with FanDuel Sports Network has elevated our brand presence, deepened engagement across our products and proven the impact of combining live local sports with interactive technology.
"We look forward to continuing this successful partnership and exploring new ways to collaborate in the future as we remain committed to driving innovation at the intersection of sports entertainment and betting.
FanDuel's collaboration with Main Street Sports Group also includes on-screen odds integrations, exclusive offers and a live content portfolio, such as media rights to EuroLeague Basketball and PDC Darts.
The bet tracking technology can be used for NBA games involving the Cleveland Cavaliers, Charlotte Hornets, Detroit Pistons, Indiana Pacers and Memphis Grizzlies, as well as the Carolina Hurricanes, Columbus Blue Jackets, Detroit Red Wings and Nashville Predators NHL franchises.
"In markets where FanDuel Sports Network and FanDuel's Sportsbook operate together, we're seeing meaningful, sustained growth," Main Street Sports Group CRO Eric Ratchman said.
"Fans who engage with FanDuel's on-screen integrations are watching nearly twice as many games per season and staying connected with our product more than 40 days longer on average. That level of engagement underscores the power of how this partnership is helping to shape the future of local sports viewing."
The collaboration will also feature joint activation opportunities for FanDuel and FanDuel Sports Network in Missouri following the state's official launch of online sports betting on December 1.
FanDuel partnered with TV dating show Love Island for a newly launched slot game called Love Island Reel Vibes on December 9, currently active in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Ontario
