The XSE Pro League Guangzhou final in July became one of 9z’s biggest achievements this season. The team swept PARIVISION 3-0 in the final series, adding another trophy to its collection.
This success in China gave the entire roster a major confidence boost. 9z will now face even stronger opponents, proving that it can consistently compete for top spots at the S-tier level.
Intrigue from day one
The tension will start to build right from the first day of the tournament. On November 2, 9z will face a well-known opponent with which it still has unfinished business. A month ago, at ESL Pro League Season 24, 9z came out on top, 2-0, ending its rival's run at the tournament in Katowice.
The familiar rivals now have a chance to avenge that painful elimination, while 9z can show its October victory was no fluke. In CS2, one bad map pick or a lost eco round can turn an entire series around. So despite their previous encounters, both will need to start fresh and bring new strategies.
