The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) has reported the state's total gaming revenue for October 2025, as casino win, iGaming and sports wagering combined to generate $611.1m throughout the period, equating to growth of 22.3%.
Leading the way for revenue generated by gaming types was iGaming, which accounted for $260.3m of revenue and increased 21.8% year-over-year. The total represents a new monthly high for iGaming revenue in New Jersey, surpassing the $248.4m produced throughout August 2025.
Other authorized games produced nearly $257.7m of revenue for the monthly period, increasing 22%, while peer-to-peer games generated the remaining $2.6m and rose 11.1%. FanDuel led all operators in iGaming revenue for October 2025 after reporting $60.9m, equating to growth of 26.1%.
DraftKings and BetMGM reported October 2025 iGaming revenues of $48.5m and $33.2m, respectively, representing increases of 6.3% and 30.2%. Borgata accounted for $21.9m of New Jersey's total iGaming revenue and increased 33.3% year-over-year, while Caesars Palace produced $16.9m of iGaming revenue and rose 15.4%.
Casino win accounted for $234.7m of revenue for October 2025, representing an increase of 12.5%. Slot machines generated just over $174.4m of casinos' total gaming revenue for October 2025, having increased 9.1% from the prior year period. Table games produced an October 2025 revenue of close to $60.3m, equating to growth of 23.5%.
Borgata not only generated one of the highest iGaming revenues of any operator for October 2025, but also led the way in casino revenue for retail properties in New Jersey. The hotel reported $68.5m of casino win for the monthly period, equating to a rise of 28.2%.
Only Bally's and Tropicana witnessed decreases in casino revenue year-over-year, having fallen 1.2% and 8.9%, respectively, for October 2025 totals of $11.3m and $16.1m.
Hard Rock Atlantic City generated $42.5m of casino revenue throughout October 2025, representing an increase of 4%, while Ocean Casino produced just over $39.4m of casino win and rose 20%. Harrah's Atlantic City and Resorts accounted for casino revenues of $17.5m and $12.7m, respectively, equating to increases of 11% and 5.4%.
Finally, Caesars reported an October 2025 casino revenue of $16m and increased 6.8%, while Golden Nugget Atlantic City managed to increase casino revenue by 10.8% to $10.7m.
Sports wagering revenue for October 2025 grew 49.8% from the prior year period for a total of $116.1m, having been generated through a combination of retail wagering, online wagering and betting activity from racetracks. FanDuel also led New Jersey operators in online sports wagering revenue for October 2025, accounting for $39.9m and rising 14.5%.
DraftKings was a near second with $30.5m in online sports wagering revenue, equating to growth of 37.3%, but failed to replicate the same year-over-year increase as BetFanatics, which rose 595.2% for an October 2025 total of $11.4m. BetMGM and bet365 reported online sports wagering revenues of $10.2m and $6.5m, respectively, representing increases of 39.8% and 78.7%.
The vast majority of retail wagering was conducted at the Meadowlands Racetrack and Borgata Hotel & Casino, as the racetrack accounted for $2.3m of retail betting revenue and increased 38.3%, while the $1.5m generated by Borgata follows a $438,900 loss reported for October 2024.
Total handle for New Jersey sports wagering came out to just over $1.2bn for October 2025, with online operations accounting for all but $43.8m of the state's total handle throughout the monthly period. The handle for October 2025 may relate to the start of the NBA and NHL seasons, while the NFL regular season has also been ongoing.
The New Jersey DGE issued a $112,188 civil penalty against Digital Gaming Corporation on October 24, which operates Super Group throughout the state, for failing to adequately adhere to the state's self-exclusion regulations
