iGaming Ontario has reported the province’s online gaming activity for March 2026, as total handle across sports betting, casino and poker reached CAD$9.6bn (US$7bn) and increased 20.6%, representing an all-time high monthly figure for operators.
The agency also reported a non-adjusted gross gaming revenue (NAGGR) of $387m, equating to growth of 30.7%. iCasino activity accounted for the vast majority of Ontario’s NAGGR for March 2026, increasing 31.8% to $318.5m.
Sports betting and online poker reported March 2026 NAGGR’s of $62m and $6.9m, respectively, representing increases of 29.2% and 3% year-over-year.
iCasino operators produced just over $8.3bn of the province’s total handle and increased 25.8%, although sports betting handle in Ontario decreased 8.9% to nearly $1.1bn. Online poker activity managed to generate $183m of handle and increase 23.6%.
Online casino revenue accounted for 82% of the province’s market share for March 2026, as well as 87% of Ontario’s market share for total handle. Sports betting represented 16% of NAGGR market share and 11% of Ontario’s handle, while online poker produced the remaining 2% for each.
Monthly active player accounts in Ontario increased 16.5% to 1,235 users and averaged $313 in revenue per active account.
