Zitro has named Eugenio Javier Gómez as its newly appointed Director of Institutional Relations and Certifications for Spain. 

Gómez has several decades of experience in public administration and has previously dabbled in regulatory development and game certification. 

He has worked extensively with regional and state authorities on matters related to regulatory frameworks in Spain. 

In his new role, Gómez will spearhead the department as it forms working relationships with other industry organisations and institutions. 

Gómez will also be responsible for ensuring that Zitro adheres to the strict technical and regulatory guidelines in its operations. 

Albert Zorrilla, Zitro Spain GM, said: “Eugenio Javier Gómez’s experience and knowledge of the regulatory environment will be essential in continuing to build bridges with administrations and stakeholders across the sector.
