FanDuel has agreed a multi-year partnership with Amazon to serve as the exclusive odds provider for NBA and WNBA broadcasts on Prime Video.

The deal, announced ahead of the new NBA season, will give Prime Video viewers access to FanDuel betting insights through two new features: an optional bet tracking tool and an "Odds View" overlay.

The functions will allow fans to see live updates on their existing wagers and access real-time market data while watching games.

Mike Raffensperger, President of Sports at FanDuel, said: "Our partnership as the official odds provider for NBA and WNBA on Prime Video represents a significant milestone in how we connect with basketball fans. By integrating custom content into Prime Video's NBA broadcasts, we will enhance the fan viewing experience and connect with new audiences."

Danielle Carney, Head of US Video and Live Sports Sales at Amazon Ads, added: "It's important to partner with brands that are invested in enhancing the fan experience. By prioritising innovation and storytelling, we can create unique opportunities for brands to connect with their audiences that are more meaningful."

As part of the agreement, NBA on Prime analyst Blake Griffin will act as an ambassador for FanDuel. He will appear across FanDuel's campaigns, including social media, on-air integrations and live events.

In addition to its US sportsbook operations, FanDuel has launched regulated prediction markets through CME Group and has maintained existing sportsbook operations at the Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia.

The new bet tracking feature on Prime Video will not enable direct wagering. Instead, it allows customers who link their FanDuel accounts to view progress on active bets during live games.

FanDuel and Amazon said responsible gaming settings will apply, with features remaining optional and able to be disabled in-app.
