Deal follows broader expansion across regulated European markets

Meridianbet has extended its title sponsorship agreement with BC Crvena Zvezda, ensuring the Serbian basketball club will continue to compete under the name "Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet" through to 2030.

The renewal builds on a three-year partnership that began in January 2023, during which Meridianbet has served as the club's title sponsor and official betting partner.

Under the updated agreement, Meridianbet branding will remain on team jerseys and across home fixtures at Belgrade Arena, with the naming rights applying across EuroLeague, ABA League and Serbian League competitions.

Crvena Zvezda is a regular participant in the EuroLeague, which features 20 clubs from 12 countries. The league is widely regarded as a key development pathway to the NBA, with the Belgrade-based club having produced players such as Vlade Divac and Peja Stojaković.

Meridianbet CEO Zoran Milošević said: "Extending our title sponsorship with Crvena Zvezda through 2030 reflects our commitment to long-term brand building in markets where basketball plays a central cultural role."

Milošević added: "Over the past three years, the partnership has delivered consistent visibility across our core markets, while allowing us to support a club with a long-standing sporting tradition."

Since the partnership was established, the two parties have also worked together on a range of community and corporate social responsibility initiatives, including youth basketball programmes and regional outreach projects.

Meridianbet said responsible gaming messaging has been incorporated into club communications as part of the collaboration.

The sponsorship extension comes as Meridianbet continues to scale its operations across regulated markets. The operator is active in 18 jurisdictions across Europe, Africa and Latin America, with both sportsbook and online casino products forming part of its portfolio.

In December 2025, Meridianbet secured a B+ online gaming licence in Belgium, allowing it to expand into the country's regulated online casino segment from January 2026.

The operator has also signed content partnerships with suppliers such as Beter, adding esports and short-format betting products across its licensed markets.
