MC Games and PlayBet, platforms operated by the C4B Gaming Group, implemented identity verification and behavioral analysis tools supplied by Legitimuz as part of efforts to strengthen operational security in Brazil's online market.

According to the two companies, the decision was driven by concerns over document fraud, bonus abuse and the creation of multiple accounts by the same user.

The system uses biometric verification and behavioral data to monitor the player journey from registration through withdrawals, replacing previously manual verification processes.

"The partnership was designed as a deep technological integration. We did not want just a static 'filter', but a layer of intelligence that followed the user flow from registration to withdrawal.

Legitimuz implemented biometric recognition and behavioral analysis tools," said MC Games COO, Augusto Brito.

"In practice, their system communicates with our platform to validate player identities and cross-check data that blocks attempts to create multiple accounts by the same person or the use of false documents. It was a transition from a manual verification process to an automated and highly accurate system," he added.

Brito also stated that one of the main challenges was balancing security with user experience: "In betting, players want speed. If verification is too slow or bureaucratic, they leave the platform.

Our work with Legitimuz was to fine-tune the algorithms so the system was strict enough to catch fraudsters but fast enough not to inconvenience legitimate users. That was our biggest operational engineering challenge."

He also noted that users have increasingly come to view identity validation as a protective measure rather than an obstacle.

"At first, there is always a small adaptation curve, especially for those not used to facial recognition. But the reaction was surprisingly positive. Serious players feel safer when they see that the platform requires validation. They know their data and balance are protected."
