Kevin Fekete has started the new year off strong by announcing his appointment with Aristocrat.

On his appointment, he noted that he will "have the opportunity to support the commercial product team" at Aristocrat, while also introducing "innovative gaming solutions to players and their hosts and help create experiences that truly make an impression."

"I'm one of those lucky ones and couldn't be more excited to be joining a global leader in gaming," he continued.

With over 10 years of gambling industry experience, Fekete is well-positioned to develop this role within Aristocrat and introduce new innovative features for players and operators alike.

Fekete first joined the industry in 2014, when he became the Junior Product Manager for win2day, Austria's sole legal online gaming platform.

Here, he worked closely with in-house studios to provide detailed feedback on game mechanics and math development.

In 2017, Fekete started a long career with Greentube as its Product and Content Manager for Online Gaming.

In this role, he was responsible for overseeing the game development process by both internal and external studios.

This required him to coordinate and schedule game launches, while balancing game development timelines against market demands and business goals.

After a few years, he was promoted to Product and Content Manager for Server-Based Gaming (VLT) at Greentube, particularly the "Plurius" server-based omni-channel gaming solution.

He was responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from the first steps of development to the implementation and post-launch optimisation.

In 2019, Fekete held a brief stint as Games Delivery Manager at Greentube, before stepping into his final role in the company: Team Leader of the Games Delivery Division.

Much like in his previous roles, Fekete oversaw game development lifecycles and launches, with the added responsibility of managing relationships with key external stakeholders.

After Greentube, Fekete worked with IGT for just over three years as Senior Product Market Manager for EMEA.

At IGT, Fekete drove growth in several regions that had been marked as high-potential, including Serbia, Georgia, the Czech Republic, Belgium, Denmark, and Luxembourg.

While Aristocrat has been very focused on US markets recently, such as opening up New Hampshire's first-ever Aristocrat Lounge and bringing certain titles online for players in New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Ontario, this appointment raises questions as to whether Aristocrat will also begin focusing on Eastern and Western European markets in the new year.

Good to know

This year, Fekete took a career break to enrol in a remote program at the Academy of Economics Vienna (Sales/Key Account Management for Executives) while travelling through Asia and Australia
