Swintt expands German footprint after regulator clears games for Entain's bwin

The approval allows Entain to significantly deepen its locally compliant casino offering in one of Europe's most tightly regulated online gambling markets, where individual game certification remains a key barrier to scale.

Integration marks Swintt's largest expansion in Germany to date

Swintt has strengthened its position in Germany after securing regulatory approval for more than 100 of its games, enabling a broader rollout across Entain's German-facing platforms, including bwin.

The supplier confirmed that more than 25 titles from its SwinttPremium range are now live across Entain's locally licensed brands, following completion of the integration earlier this month. The launch represents Swintt's most extensive expansion in the German market so far.

Germany remains one of Europe's most tightly regulated online gambling markets, with suppliers required to obtain individual game approvals before distribution.

Swintt said the newly approved portfolio reflects content designed to comply with local technical and player protection requirements, while aligning with established player preferences.

The SwinttPremium range focuses on traditional slot formats, incorporating fruit machine-style visuals and simplified bonus mechanics tailored to the German audience.

Titles already available on Entain-owned platforms include Extra Win X, Seven Seven Pots and Pearls, and Master of Books Unlimited.

Swintt typically releases several new titles each month, with the supplier indicating that the German portfolio is expected to continue expanding as further games complete the approval process.

Anthony Dalla-Giacoma, Swintt CCO, said: "Integrating with a group like Entain that has such a strong presence in Germany will be vital to our strategic ambitions."

Dalla-Giacoma added: "Going live with over 25 of our top-performing slots across Entain's German-facing platforms allows us to introduce our content to new audiences while strengthening the availability of localised games."

Entain operates multiple regulated brands in Germany, including bwin and Ladbrokes.de, and has continued to expand its locally compliant casino offering as competition intensifies under the country's licensing framework.

Wanja Richter, Director of Gaming North Central Europe at Entain, said: "As a group with a strong market presence in Germany, it is essential for bwin to offer content that reflects local demand."

Richter added: "Making SwinttPremium slots available across our German-facing brands supports that objective and broadens the choice of locally optimised games for players."

Swintt's expansion in Germany follows wider developments across the supplier sector. Earlier this month, former Swintt Chief Executive David Mann was appointed CEO of Playnetic, after overseeing Swintt's regulated market growth across Europe.
