Ocean Casino Resort has opened Ocean’s 18 Mini Golf & Bar, a new entertainment venue located on the casino level of the Atlantic City property. The venue officially launched on January 17 and represents the first permanent indoor mini golf course to operate inside a casino in Atlantic City.
Ocean’s 18 covers approximately 8,000 square feet across two floors and features two separate nine-hole mini golf courses alongside a full-service bar.
The space is positioned adjacent to LaScala’s Fire restaurant and is open to guests of all ages during daytime hours, before transitioning to a 21-and-over environment in the evening.
The venue incorporates digital and interactive elements designed to support both casual play and group-based activity. These include QR code scorecards, a real-time leaderboard and large format holographic displays installed throughout the space.
The hologram technology was developed by Hypervsn and includes a virtual avatar designed to welcome guests and provide on-site information. A large-scale shark hologram is also installed above the bar area.
In addition to mini golf, Ocean’s 18 functions as a sports bar with large screens, a cocktail menu and seating areas that can be configured for private bookings.
The venue is available for corporate and group events, with options to reserve individual courses or the full facility. Ocean said the space can also be adapted for branded events through customized digital displays.
Ocean Casino Resort GM Bill Callahan said: “Ocean’s 18 Mini Golf & Bar represents everything we strive for at Ocean Casino Resort, innovation, energy and experiences that bring people together.”
Callahan added that the venue supports the property’s ongoing focus on expanding its entertainment mix beyond gaming.
Owner and operator of Ocean’s 18 Mini Golf & Bar, Mark Benevento, said the project was designed to combine familiar recreational formats with newer technology, creating an attraction suited to a broad range of visitors.
The opening adds to Ocean Casino Resort’s wider investment in non-gaming amenities as Atlantic City operators continue to diversify their offerings to attract both leisure and destination-driven visitors.
In November 2025, Ocean Casino Resort launched its fifth consecutive Season of Giving initiative, marking the culmination of its Ocean Cares program. The property reported more than $280,000 in charitable contributions during the year through partnerships with local community organizations across Atlantic City and southern New Jersey.
Ocean Casino Resort operates a 135,000 square foot gaming floor with more than 1,750 slot machines, 125 table games and a retail sportsbook, alongside a growing portfolio of dining and entertainment venues
