The program includes existing responsible gaming tools in a way that promotes ‘introspective decision-making’ and proactive messaging
FanDuel will leverage a multi-channel strategy for the campaign, utilizing platforms such as television, social media and audio

FanDuel has introduced a new research-based responsible gaming campaign featuring the operator’s existing safer play initiatives but in a manner which promotes “introspective decision-making” and proactive messaging.

The Play with a Plan campaign looks to encourage FanDuel consumers to make their own informed decisions, while the operator also reported a 41% usage increase of its responsible gaming tools for 2025.

FanDuel will leverage a multi-channel strategy for the campaign, utilizing platforms such as television, social media and audio to provide “high-impact placements” that “maximize effectiveness.”

SVP of Public Policy and Sustainability Cory Fox spoke on the new initiative, having said, “This refreshed platform was purposeful and reflects the research we’ve done to rethink how Responsible Gaming is communicated most effectively to consumers.

“These insights shaped everything from the development of our messaging to ongoing innovation across our tools. FanDuel remains focused on making Responsible Gaming more intuitive and inviting for customers.”

Play with a Plan also helps FanDuel users evaluate their gaming habits preemptively and provides “actionable guidance” rather than follow the strategy of former responsible gaming campaigns which “tell players what not to do.”

FanDuel’s responsible gaming tools include a my spend dashboard that offers insight into player deposit and betting activity over seven-day, monthly or three-month periods, loss limits and deposit alert parameters.

Flutter Entertainment, which currently owns and operates FanDuel, introduced its Positive Impact Plan that includes $100m in annual responsible gaming investments.

According to FanDuel, the increased rate of responsible gaming tool usage by users during 2025 equates to the highest participation rate ever recorded in the operator’s history.
