X Games has confirmed a global partnership with Stake, appointing the platform as the Exclusive Online Casino and Sports Betting Partner of the X Games League (XGL). The partnership coincides with the launch of the XGL, a new competition framework integrating competitive events with fan engagement and sports wagering.
Under the agreement, Stake will provide access to real-time odds across X Games broadcasts and online channels. The betting data will be supplied by official provider Alt Sports Data, allowing fans to follow odds during competitions.
All four annual XGL events, including the Winter X Games in Aspen and both Summer and Winter XGL Drafts, will be livestreamed exclusively on Kick.com, providing global viewers with full coverage of each event.
The partnership also includes the creation of an Athlete Ambassador Fund to support X Games athletes in producing co-branded content for fans. Through this initiative, athletes can engage directly with the audience across multiple digital platforms while contributing to the development of the XGL experience.
Before partnering with X Games, Stake faced US class action lawsuits claiming Drake and Adin Ross misled players about gambling on its platform, portraying it as their own money and potentially normalising illegal online gambling.
Elsewhere in the sports betting world, BetMGM was named the official sports betting partner of the St. Louis Blues while the Major League Table Tennis (MLTT) introduced regulated wagering with IC360 and Alt Sports Data.
Cherie Cohen, X Games CRO, stated: “We are officially open for gaming and betting, providing our fans with the adrenaline-fueled engagement they crave.”
Akhil Sarin, Stake CMO, added: “By bringing Stake’s advanced gaming technology to the X Games’ global audience, we’re creating experiences that reflect the intensity and energy that define elite extreme sports competition.”
The first event under this partnership is X Games Aspen on 23-25 January 2026, followed by the Summer XGL Draft in March
