Galaxy Gaming has launched its Monopoly Table Games Progressive in the UK, beginning with the installation of Monopoly Blackjack Progressive across a number of London casino venues operated by Metropolitan Gaming.
The initial rollout includes Metropolitan Mayfair, Empire Casino, The Sportsman Casino and Park Lane Club, marking the first time a Monopoly-branded progressive table game has been made available to players in the UK market.
The launch follows Galaxy Gaming’s exclusive licensing agreement with Hasbro, under which the company holds the sole rights to develop Monopoly-themed casino table games.
The agreement enables Galaxy Gaming to adapt the intellectual property into table-based formats designed for land-based casino floors.
Monopoly Blackjack Progressive builds on traditional blackjack mechanics while incorporating a branded progressive feature.
The game includes a random selection element in which Mr Monopoly can apply multipliers of up to 10x to qualifying hands.
According to Galaxy Gaming, the mechanic is designed to introduce additional volatility and engagement without altering the underlying rules of blackjack.
The UK deployment represents a further expansion of Galaxy Gaming’s Monopoly portfolio, following initial launches in the United States.
The operator has positioned the progressive range as part of a broader strategy to develop branded table games that integrate well-known intellectual property into core casino products.
Metropolitan Gaming said the introduction of the Monopoly-branded progressive aligns with its focus on premium and differentiated gaming experiences within its UK estate.
The operator has previously partnered with a range of suppliers to introduce branded and feature-enhanced table games aimed at both domestic and international customers visiting its London venues.
Galaxy Gaming develops and licences proprietary table games and related technology to casinos globally. Its portfolio includes side bets, progressives and enhanced table game variants, with a focus on regulated land-based markets.
Earlier this month, Galaxy Gaming launched its Monopoly table game progressive in Nevada at the Plaza Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The property became the first in the state and only the second in the US to host the title, following its original development in mid-2025 after Galaxy Gaming’s partnership with Hasbro.
Galaxy Gaming is in the process of being acquired by Evolution in a transaction valued at approximately $85m, with the merger agreement currently extended through July 2026
