The Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission has released the state’s commercial casino activity for December 2025, as the four properties which report to the regulator combined to generate $36.6m of revenue for a decrease of 1.5%.
Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway and Kansas Star Casino produced the highest revenues of any commercial property in the state with $14.7m and $14.4m, respectively, but witnessed decreases of 2.1% and 0.8% for December 2025.
Revenue from electronic gaming devices (EGDs) for Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway fell 0.2% to $13.3m, while the property’s table game revenue decreased by 17.6% to $1.3m.
Kansas Star Casino managed to generate $12.5m of EGD revenue for growth of 3.7%, whereas table game revenue decreased by 23% to $1.9m.
Boot Hill Casino also reported a decrease in total casino revenue of 3.7% to $4m after EGD revenue fell 3.9% to $3.5m and table game revenue for the property decreased 2.3% to nearly $508,000.
Kansas Crossing Casino was the only commercial property across the state to produce an increase in casino revenue from the prior year period, rising 1.1% to $3.6m. Despite table game revenue decreasing 6.9% to $280,700, Kansas Crossing Casino managed to increase EGD revenue 1.8% to $3.3m.
In total, EGD revenue in Kansas grew 1% for a total of $32.5m, while table game revenue from the four gaming establishments fell 18% to $4m.
Kansas gaming laws currently dictate that 22% of total revenue generated by commercial casinos is shared with the state, while 5% is split between the local communities in which the properties reside and for Problem Gambling resources.
