The Kansas City Royals have named Circa Sports as the Major League Baseball (MLB) franchise’s official sports betting partner, set to feature prominent signage and branding in Kauffman Stadium as well as new fan integrations.
Circa Sports will debut its partnership with the Kansas City Royals on January 30 as part of the team’s Royals Rally Casino Night and give away 10 prize packages which include a free two-night stay at the operator’s Las Vegas property.
“Since launching Circa Sports in Missouri last December, we’ve grown to appreciate the local sports community - and the Kansas City Royals are at the heart of it,” Circa Sports CEO Derek Stevens said.
“This partnership is about creating premium experiences around the game - from the ballpark to the sportsbook - and giving Royals fans access, energy and a level of engagement that feels authentic to how they follow baseball.”
The Royals had previously named Underdog Fantasy as its official partner in late 2025, only for the collaboration to fall through once the operator chose to exit Missouri prior to the state’s sports betting market going live on December 1.
Circa Sports and DraftKings were the only operators to receive an untethered sports betting license from the Missouri Gaming Commission, allowing both to begin conducting business in the state without partnering with a retail casino or professional sports franchise.
Kansas City Royals President of Business Operations Cullen Maxey also spoke on the new collaboration, having said, “We all know the passion Royals fans have for their team, and this partnership with Circa Sports offers more ways for them to connect with the game they love.
“From special events at Kauffman Stadium to unique experiences beyond the ballpark, we’re excited to work with Circa to bring new ways for fans to connect with the Royals.”
While Circa Sports has chosen to partner with the Royals despite its untethered license in Missouri, the operator will not have to share revenue or pay partnership fees with the MLB franchise.
The Missouri Gaming Commission reported the state’s adjusted gross revenue for December 2025 on January 13, as commercial gaming properties combined to produce $172.4m for an increase of 5%
