Operator BetMGM has been announced as the new Official Sports Betting, Online Casino and Gaming Partner of the NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers as part of a partnership extension deal that will run through to the 2029 season.
As per this newly brokered deal, the pair are set to engage in co-branded online media content, a range of hospitality and related fan engagement initiatives, alongside presenting specialized responsible gambling messaging as part of a videoboard takeover before every Steelers home game.
Elsewhere, the previous Decade of Black & Gold Sweepstakes initiative is also set to continue, awarding one fan in Pennsylvania and neighbouring West Virginia with 10 years' worth of lower bowl season tickets - alongside hospitality tickets for Steelers home games.
Commenting on this news, BetMGM CMO Casey Hurbis said: "This partnership extension allows BetMGM to continue delivering experiences that reflect the energy and passion of Steelers Nation. From game day activations to exclusive Steelers-branded casino games and the amazing opportunity to win 10 years of season tickets, we're focused on creating memorable moments for fans."
BetMGM has been partnered with the Steelers for some time. Indeed, long-term industry participants may remember BetMGM's Pittsburgh Steelers-branded table games launched in 2021. This latest development, however, falls in the wake of more significant recent updates for the operator, with Jarrod Schwarz having stepped into the role of BetMGM COO last month.
Elsewhere in the state of Pennsylvania, the jurisdiction's Gaming Control Board unveiled sports wagering handle of $515.4m, up 6.2% in comparison to results from the prior year.
Also speaking on this latest partnership development, Ryan Huzjak, SVP of Business Operations, Pittsburgh Steelers, said, "We are very excited to build upon the success of our partnership with BetMGM. Fans will notice new in-game elements and opportunities in addition to the existing Steelers-branded casino games and fan favorite Decade of Black & Gold promotion."
Earlier this week, BetMGM also reported a Q3 2025 revenue rise of 23% year-over-year to $667m
