Grupo Gelsa, Colombia’s largest transactional network operator, has launched TodoPay, a digital wallet designed to facilitate payments across gaming and betting verticals, alongside other everyday payment services.
The platform integrates gaming and betting payments into its core functionality, positioning itself as a tailored payment solution for lottery prizes, chance games, and sports betting platforms.
The wallet enables users to collect lottery and chance prizes directly into their accounts, manage gambling-related deposits and withdrawals, and conduct peer-to-peer transfers between TodoPay users.
It also operates across Paga Todo’s network of more than 14,000 physical locations nationwide, combining digital payment capabilities with an established retail footprint.
Mauricio Chaparro, General Manager of Grupo Gelsa, said: “We are launching TodoPay, our virtual wallet, which seeks to facilitate the collection and allocation of prizes for our consumers, improving their experience.”
TodoPay is powered by Powwi, Grupo Gelsa’s specialized electronic deposits and payments platform, and integrates with the Colombian Central Bank’s Bre-B immediate payments system.
According to the company, Grupo Gelsa processes around 1.5 million transactions per day in Bogotá and Cundinamarca alone, with total annual transaction volumes exceeding COP 3.7tr ($900m). The operator manages approximately 12,000 active terminals across 116 municipalities in Cundinamarca and 20 districts in Bogotá.
In addition to supporting gambling-related payments for products such as Chance, lottery draws, sports betting through BetPlay, Baloto, Mi Loto and scratch card games, TodoPay also offers mobile top-ups, bill payments, money transfers and banking correspondent services.
The launch comes amid growing competition in Colombia’s digital wallet market, which is currently dominated by platforms such as Nequi and Daviplata. TodoPay seeks to differentiate itself by embedding gaming and betting payment functionality within its offering, rather than positioning solely as a general-purpose digital wallet.
