The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas, operated by MGM Resorts International, has unveiled its newly updated penthouse suites and entourage rooms for guests, spanning 38 suites across two floors throughout the Strip property.

"The Cosmopolitan has always embraced bold, daring design, and these new Chelsea Penthouses elevate that legacy to new heights," Cosmopolitan Las Vegas President and COO Sean Lanni said.

"We designed these suites to reflect the spirit of the resort itself-vibrant, energetic and made for connection. With sweeping views, expansive living rooms and thoughtful details throughout, they create the kind of experience our guests will remember long after their stay."

MGM Resorts originally acquired the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas property after finalizing its $1.625bn agreement with The Blackstone Group in May 2022, at which time was approximately eight times as large as the casino resort's adjusted EBITDA.

The operator entered into a 30-year lease agreement with three 10-year renewal options and formed partnerships with Stonepeak Partners, the Cherng Family Trust and Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust, which acquired the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas' real estate assets as part of the transaction.

The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas also transitioned from its Identity loyalty program to the MGM Rewards loyalty program on February 1, 2024, and completed the full adaptation in July of the same year.
