Hacksaw Gaming has welcomed Foxhound Games to its OpenRGS platform as the ninth studio to use the solution.

The OpenRGS platform is a remote solution that allows developers to create titles on an established front-end framework, while Hacksaw handles the necessary back-end functionality, mathematical configuration and compliance requirements for both platforms and games.

Foxhound Games was founded in 2024 and will launch its debut title, Mortal Oath, under this deal.

With a dark and more mature tone, Mortal Oath follows a demon slayer as he fights ancient evil in an anime-inspired setting.

The features, such as Corrupted Hunter and Night of the Hunt, reflect the wider narrative, which delivers a cinematic experience to the player.

This approach to storytelling and game design reflects the wider ethos of Hacksaw Gaming to create immersive experiences through strong artistic direction.

Alexis Angelidis, Foxhound Games Founder and CEO, said: “The whole team is incredibly excited about this partnership.

“Hacksaw OpenRGS gives us the perfect platform to bring our games to players worldwide, and we can’t wait to see where this journey takes us.”

Within the last few years, Hacksaw Gaming has introduced a few anime-style titles to its library.

These include Rainbow Princess, the Ghibli-inspired Aiko and the Wind Spirit, while titles such as Densho and Toshi Ways Club lean on Japanese imagery.

Marcus Cordes, Hacksaw Gaming Operational CEO, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Foxhound Games to OpenRGS. Their commitment to immersive, story-driven design aligns strongly with our vision of supporting innovative partner studios.

“Launching Mortal Oath is an exciting first step, and we look forward to bringing their distinctive world to operators and players across our global network.”

Recently, Hacksaw Gaming partnered with Delaware North in West Virginia to provide gaming content to the mobile casino brand, Betly.
