Caesars Entertainment hosted a grand opening ceremony for its first-ever retail sportsbook facility in Summerlin, Nevada on March 3, featuring executives from Caesars and The Resort at Summerlin, as well as former Vegas Golden Knights defenseman Deryk Engelland.
Eric Hession, President of Caesars Digital, commented on the new launch: “Opening Caesars Race & Sportsbook at The Resort at Summerlin is a significant milestone for our brand in Las Vegas.
“This location allows us to better serve sports fans in the Summerlin community with a retail and mobile experience that reflects the quality, depth and innovation that define Caesars Sportsbook.”
The Resort at Summerlin was developed following Rampart Casino’s property-wide rebrand in December 2025, part of a $75m renovation which included newly designed guest rooms, dining concepts and the Caesars Sportsbook retail integration.
“Our guests have been asking for this, and we’re proud to officially open Caesars Race & Sportsbook as part of the continued evolution of The Resort at Summerlin,” The Resort at Summerlin VP and GM Michelle McHugh said.
“As the first Caesars Race & Sportsbook in Summerlin, this opening underscores the strength of our market, and we’re excited to offer an experience that resonates with locals and visitors alike.”
As part of the grand opening ceremony, Engelland placed a ceremonial first bet on March 3, as Caesars previously installed 20 self-service betting kiosks and plans to launch the fully designed retail facility in the summer of 2026.
Caesars also expanded its premium accommodation offering at Caesars Palace, unveiling two new Colosseum Presidential Villas and 29 Sky Villas in the Octavius Tower in January 2026.
The additions come as the operator marks the resort’s 60th anniversary and continues a wider program of capital reinvestment across the property.
Caesars launched its first-ever proprietary online slot game, Ca$hline, on February 18, created by the operator’s Empire Creative in-house game studio and marking a ‘significant milestone’ in its content development
