She admitted to fixing two matches on the ITF World Tennis Tour
Her suspension from ITIA-sanctioned events lasts until September 2029

Alana Tuayeva, found guilty of fixing matches between 2023 and 2024, has been sanctioned by the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA).

The ITIA has confirmed that Tuayeva accepted a three-year-and-nine-month suspension and a $30,000 fine after admitting violations of the Tennis Anti-Corruption Program (TACP).

Of the overall stated fine, $21,000 is suspended. Indeed, Tuayeva acknowledged all the charges brought against her by the ITIA, including fixing two of her own matches on the ITF World Tennis Tour in 2023 and 2024. She accepted a mutual sanction with the ITIA and also waived her right to a hearing before an independent Anti-Corruption Hearing Officer.

Tuayeva, who has been provisionally suspended since 19 December, 2025, will have her suspension lifted on 18 September 2029, provided that she repays the outstanding fines. The time served during her provisional suspension will be credited towards her period of ineligibility.

During her period of ineligibility, Tuayeva is prohibited from participating in any tennis events that are authorised or sanctioned by ITIA members. She is also not allowed to coach at or attend these events. The ITIA members include the ATP, ITF, WTA, Tennis Australia, Fédération Française de Tennis, Wimbledon, the USTA and any national tennis association.

In its 2025 annual review, the ITIA recorded 68 reports of suspicious betting, down from 95 in 2024. During the same period, 47 tennis players were sanctioned under the anti-corruption programme for involvement in illegal betting.

In February, Brazilian player Gustavo Tedesco and former Russian player Gyulnara Nazarova were sanctioned by the ITIA following separate investigations into match-fixing and corrupt approaches.
