Hacksaw Gaming Operational CEO Marcus Cordes described US iGaming as a ‘market with large opportunities’ for the supplier

Hacksaw Gaming has been granted an online gaming service provider license by the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection, allowing the supplier to offer its portfolio of online content to operators currently active across the state.

“Securing our Connecticut licence is a fantastic achievement and another proud moment for the Hacksaw team,” Hacksaw Gaming Operational CEO Marcus Cordes said.

“The US continues to be a market with large opportunities, and each new state strengthens our ability to bring innovative, high-quality content to more players and partners. We look forward to building strong operator relationships as we expand our presence across North America.”

The new license was also said to represent the “latest milestone” in Hacksaw Gaming’s efforts toward continued market expansion, as the supplier looks to build momentum across the US through “trusted and compliant partnerships.”

Heading international, Hacksaw Gaming also strengthened its European expansion strategy on March 11 through a new partnership with betting operator Mozzartbet and simultaneously launched a new initiative designed to support the next generation of gaming innovators.

Mozzartbet began integrating Hacksaw Gaming’s portfolio of online slot titles into its Romanian platform, building on a pre-existing agreement the supplier formed with Mozzartbet in Serbia, the operator’s country of origin.

Alongside the commercial partnership, Cordes and Hacksaw have also announced the creation of Hacksaw Ventures, an investment program designed to support emerging studios and entrepreneurs developing new gaming technologies and content.

The initiative will provide selected start-ups with funding, mentorship and access to Hacksaw’s technology infrastructure, with the aim of accelerating innovation across the wider iGaming ecosystem.
