Vivian Stewart has formally commenced as a Non-Executive Director of Tabcorp
He has also joined the company's Risk, Compliance and Sustainability Committee and Nomination Committee
Stewart had served as a Board Observer since November 2025 pending regulatory approvals

Tabcorp has confirmed the formal appointment of Vivian Stewart as a Non-Executive Director, following the receipt of all required regulatory approvals.

Stewart officially joined the Board on 7 August, having previously served as a Board Observer since 1 November 2025 after his nomination was announced in October last year. Alongside his appointment, he has also become a member of Tabcorp's Risk, Compliance and Sustainability Committee and its Nomination Committee.

His arrival adds more than 17 years of listed company board experience, primarily across the technology and telecommunications sectors, with expertise spanning corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, governance, risk management and operations.

Stewart serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director of ASX-listed Superloop, where he sits on several board committees and chairs the Risk and Compliance Committee. He previously spent eight years on the board of wireless telecommunications company BigAir Group before becoming its chairman ahead of its acquisition by Superloop in 2016.

Outside the boardroom, Stewart most recently served as Chief Operating Officer of enterprise software company Bigtincan, overseeing areas including mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, legal affairs and capital markets. During his six-year tenure, he led more than 15 acquisitions across Australia, North America and Europe before the company was taken private in 2025.

His earlier career also included founding the corporate advisory firm Callafin and co-founding several investment organisations, including Sydney Angels and venture capital sidecar funds supporting early-stage businesses. Before moving into corporate advisory, he co-founded Australian internet service provider Magna Data, which was acquired by Davnet in 1999, and held a regional marketing role with Intel in Hong Kong.

The appointment comes as Tabcorp continues to strengthen its board composition with directors bringing expertise in governance, compliance and corporate transactions. Stewart's background in risk oversight, strategic growth and public company leadership is expected to support the operator's governance framework as it continues to navigate Australia's regulated wagering and gaming market.
