Key Points
Second quarter net operating revenue reached $152m, and adjusted EBITDAR reached $31.7m, both company records, driven largely by North American operations
The company posted a net loss attributable to shareholders of $10.9m for the quarter while its Poland segment continued to underperform partly due to low table hold in June

Century Casinos reported $152m in net operating revenue and $31.7m in adjusted EBITDAR for Q2, driven by strong performance in its North American operations.

Despite the record operating results, the company posted a net loss for the quarter.

Net operating revenue for the three months ended June 30, 2026 was $152m, up 1% from the same period in 2025, while adjusted EBITDAR rose 5% to $31.7m. Earnings from operations increased 4% to $17.2m.

The company posted a net loss attributable to shareholders of $10.9m or $0.39 per share, compared with a net loss of $12.3m a year earlier.

The company's US West segment, which includes the Nugget Casino Resort in Reno-Sparks, Nevada, was a key driver with net operating revenue up 16% to $23.4m and adjusted EBITDAR up 93% to $4.5m. The US Midwest segment, which covers properties in Missouri and Colorado, also contributed to the improvement.

Comparison of key financial metrics for Q2 2026 versus Q2 2025.

Erwin Haitzmann and Peter Hoetzinger, Co-CEOs, said: "We are very pleased with the results of our North American operations during the second quarter, driven by a strong performance at the Nugget, in the US West reportable segment, as well as in the US Midwest reportable segment, which includes our Missouri and Colorado properties."

The company's Poland segment, which operates six casinos through its subsidiary, Casinos Poland, remained weak. Poland net operating revenue fell 19% to $19.9m and adjusted EBITDAR dropped 97% to $52,000.

Haitzmann and Hoetzinger said the decline was due in part to low table hold in June 2026 but noted signs of improvement that should lead to better results over the coming quarters.

As of June 30, 2026, the company had total assets of $1.11bn against total liabilities of $1.14bn, resulting in a shareholders' deficit of $125.7m.

The company reported a $708m long-term financing obligation related to its master lease with subsidiaries of VICI Properties Inc.
