Lotería de Concepción has completed the migration of its digital operations to the platform developed by Calímaco, marking a technological update intended to support its presence in an increasingly competitive regional market.
The migration project has been underway for several weeks and involved transferring the lottery’s traditional games to the new environment while integrating multiple sales and catalog systems.
Gustavo Aguayo, Head of Digital Operations at the lottery, noted that the system provides real-time information that supports more efficient operational decision-making.
According to the organizations involved, the rollout was completed within the expected timeframe and was implemented without disruption for customers.
Through the transition, the Chilean lottery operator has adopted a cloud-based microservices architecture designed to support future expansion into additional verticals and digital products.
Claudio Pérez Cárcamo, Director of the Digital Unit at Lotería de Concepción, added that the platform enables real-time monitoring of sales performance and faster strategic decisions.
Carlos Parrá García, IT and Risk Manager at Lotería de Concepción and the project lead, said: “For Lotería de Concepción, the implementation of this tool, which is world-class within the gaming industry, represents a strategic step.
It will allow us greater versatility, expand our product offering, improve customer service, personalize our website and optimize financial analysis, while strengthening our capacity for growth.”
Alejandro Serrano, CEO of Calímaco, said: “For us it is an honor to work with a national lottery. Lotería de Concepción has taken a strategic step by digitalizing its product and building an operation prepared to compete with ambition and long-term vision.”
