MediaTroopers has announced plans to expand its operations into regulated Latin American markets ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, extending its existing footprint in the US and Canada.
The affiliate and customer acquisition group said the move will include new soccer-focused marketing channels, a broader network of publishers and affiliates and localized updates to its proprietary Media Cruiser platform.
According to MediaTroopers, the product changes include enhanced geo-targeting tools, Spanish and Portuguese language localization and deeper integration with regional traffic sources.
It said those additions are intended to support targeted campaigns in a number of Latin American jurisdictions where sports betting activity is tied closely to soccer.
The group also said operators will be able to access audiences in Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina and Chile through sports media sources and affiliates that specialize in soccer content.
MediaTroopers CEO, Shmulik Segal, said: “Soccer dominates the sports landscape across Latin America and the World Cup presents a major opportunity for operators to engage fans through localized and data-driven marketing.”
The expansion comes as betting and media groups position themselves for the 2026 tournament, which will be staged across the US, Canada and Mexico from June 11 to July 19, according to FIFA.
MediaTroopers said it already has an established presence in North America and is now investing further south before the tournament begins.
Its latest plan centers on regulated markets in Latin America, where operator competition for acquisition channels is expected to increase around major soccer events.
The company did not disclose financial terms for the expansion or identify specific operator partners tied to the rollout.
Earlier this year, Stats Perform agreed an exclusive multi-year deal with FIFA to distribute official betting data and streaming rights for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and other FIFA competitions through 2029, adding another commercial layer to how suppliers and operators are preparing for the tournament.
The 2026 tournament will be the first men’s World Cup to feature 48 teams and 104 matches, with the final scheduled for July 19
