PureWager Group has been appointed as the exclusive sports betting partner of the Baltimore Orioles MLB franchise, as well as the title sponsor for the team’s new Scoreboard Social space, the PureWager Pavilion.
The new collaboration represents PureWager Group’s “inaugural venture” into the US sports betting market and was described as a “defining moment” for the operator by CEO Elliott Banks.
“Partnering with the Baltimore Orioles represents a defining moment for PureWager. Baseball has always been about community, tradition and the shared experience of fans coming together – and that’s exactly the spirit we are bringing to sports entertainment,” Banks said.
“Our goal is to enhance the fan experience responsibly, using our technology and operational expertise to create engaging, community-first entertainment that complements the game we all love. We’re proud to work alongside one of MLB’s most iconic franchises and look forward to building something that benefits Orioles fans, the Maryland sports community and the continued growth of PureWager.”
Originally beginning construction in 2025, the PureWager Pavilion will be made available ahead of the Orioles’ 2026 regular season and offer tickets to private groups of up to 300 people.
Baltimore Orioles CRO Don Rovak also spoke on the new collaboration, having said, “We’re honored PureWager Group chose to join forces with the Orioles as they break into the US market, and we know that this will be the start of a bright future for them in sports betting on this side of the pond.
“We’re confident our fans are going to enjoy the PureWager Pavilion, and it will quickly become a destination where both individual fans and large groups come together to enjoy a game at one of the most iconic ballparks in baseball.”
If no private events are booked for a specific game, the PureWager Pavilion will also be made available to all fans while featuring a selection of food and beverage options.
MLB confirmed Polymarket as its official partner on March 19, with the agreement also including a clause which allows MLB to terminate the partnership if courts determine prediction markets violate state laws
