As part of the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy, both entities have introduced the new Marriott Bonvoy Moments series, which allows rewards members to bid points on five exclusive travel experiences.
Each travel experience includes a multi-night stay at one of MGM Resorts International’s Las Vegas properties, as well as travel to destinations such as Miami, Italy, Ireland, London and the Bahamas.
The Las Vegas to Miami opportunity officially starts the Marriott Bonvoy Moments series on March 23, with bidding opening at 100,000 points and running through March 30. The remaining travel experiences also start bidding at 100,000 rewards points, besides the trip to Lake Como in Italy which begins at 150,000 points.
While travel and accommodations are included within the respective packages, the timeframes for each hotel stay are separated by at least two months. For example, winners of the Las Vegas to Miami experience would stay at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas from April 9-11, while accommodations in Miami would begin on September 17.
At the time of writing, only the Las Vegas to Italy experience has no dates provided by MGM Resorts or Marriott International, although bidding was confirmed to start on April 25 and close on April 30.
In related news, the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) unanimously recommended approval for Park MGM’s new recorded gaming salon on March 12, which now requires a final endorsement from the state’s Gaming Commission on March 26.
The new gaming salon offers a contrasting take on high-roller gambling in Las Vegas by utilizing technology to record audio and video of an individual’s play, with MGM Resorts providing forms which give the operator permission to film bystanders in the space.
Chandler Pohl, VP and Legal Counsel of MGM Resorts’ regulatory division, stated the operator was inspired to develop the salon near its T-Mobile Arena facility to encourage those attending concerts and sporting events to gamble within the space afterwards.
On February 26, MGM Resorts International and BetMGM pledged more than $1m toward responsible gaming initiatives as part of Problem Gambling Awareness Month, taking place in March 2026
