International Game Technology (IGT) has expanded the footprint of its Vive Las Vegas slots lounge with an inaugural launch in Argentina at the Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo in Buenos Aires.

“Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo is excited to offer our players the jackpot excitement of some of IGT’s most popular slots themes in the Vive Las Vegas Lounge on our gaming floor,” Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo Casino GM Alberto D’Audia said.

“This collaboration gives us the distinct opportunity to optimize our IGT slots library and provide a fun Las Vegas-inspired gaming experience right here in Argentina.”

The Vive Las Vegas slots lounge features over 50 IGT-branded slot machines, including multi-level progressives such as Magic Treasures Gold, Tiger and Dragon, Money Gong and Mummy Link.

IGT Director of Sales for LatAm Florencia Bobbio spoke on the new launch, having said, “IGT is thrilled to continue the expansion of its popular Vive Las Vegas lounge concept in (LatAm) with the latest installation at Hipódomo Argentino de Palermo in Argentina.

“The lounge brings a distinguished lineup of IGT’s high-performing (multi-level progressives) themes and cabinets together at Argentina’s largest casino and demonstrates our capacity to provide unique opportunities designed to engage players and drive value for our customers.”

On March 4, IGT and its IGT PlayDigital entity also unveiled the first-ever online debut of its Eternal Link franchise with the launch of Eternal Link Warrior’s Empire in the US and Ontario.

Eternal Link Warrior’s Empire’s online debut coincides with the title’s retail launch across North America and offers mini, minor, maxi and grand prizes to online and land-based players.

A randomized Eternal Pot feature is also included within the omnichannel game, potentially adding the final symbols required to trigger a bonus, with multipliers and free spins used to enhance possible jackpots.

Good to know

IGT announced a reduction of its global workforce on March 24, representing around 10% of its staff and a broader review of the business following its acquisition by Apollo Global Management
