DigiPlus Interactive Corp. has rolled out a PHP 1bn Prediction Giveaway through its flagship sportsbook platform ArenaPlus, marking a major push in customer acquisition and engagement.

Formally launched on March 21, the campaign centres on a free-to-play bracket prediction challenge inspired by a format long popular in the United States. The initiative allows Filipino basketball fans to forecast outcomes throughout the entire NBA Playoffs, culminating in the Finals.

ArenaPlus Head Erick Su said the bracket concept is a staple of American sports culture but has not previously been introduced locally. By adapting the format for Philippine audiences, the company aims to elevate fan participation without requiring any financial commitment.

The giveaway is structured to sustain engagement from the opening playoff rounds through to the championship decider. DigiPlus said the free entry model is designed to make the experience accessible while reinforcing responsible gaming practices.

The campaign launch event, held at the Mall of Asia Sky Deck Amphitheater in Pasay City, featured actor and host Luis “Lucky” Manzano, who was introduced as ArenaPlus’ newest brand ambassador. He was joined by Gilas Pilipinas naturalised player Justin Brownlee, assistant coach Bong Ravena and professional player Thirdy Ravena.

To safeguard platform integrity, ArenaPlus said it is enforcing strict electronic Know Your Customer (eKYC) protocols. Built-in responsible gaming features include tools allowing users to set daily play durations, customised schedules and loss limits.

DigiPlus said the initiative reflects its broader strategy of combining large-scale customer activations with platform innovation to strengthen its leadership in the Philippine digital sports entertainment market.
