Sportradar has entered into a multi-year partnership with Brazil’s Liga Nacional de Basquete (LNB), securing a broad range of rights designed to support the league’s commercial growth and technological development.
Under the agreement, Sportradar will hold worldwide rights for audiovisual betting and gaming, as well as responsibility for betting data collection and distribution.
The deal covers all competitions within the LNB ecosystem, including the NBB Caixa, Copa Super 8 and several development leagues.
The partnership will also see the integration of Sportradar’s Synergy portfolio, including advanced analytics and AI-driven video tools. These systems aim to support team performance, scouting and coaching processes, while also bolstering the league’s overall data infrastructure.
Integrity and compliance form a central component of the collaboration. Sportradar’s Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS AI) will be deployed to monitor more than 620 matches per season, alongside educational workshops aimed at players, referees and administrators. The initiative is designed to strengthen safeguards against match-fixing and corruption.
Commenting on the new deal, Sergio Floris, Managing Director Brazil of Sportradar, stated: “We are delighted to partner with the LNB and support the next phase of growth for basketball in Brazil.
“Sportradar already has a strong presence in the country through partnerships in football and volleyball, and we have long looked forward to welcoming Brazil’s premier basketball league into our portfolio. Together, we aim to elevate the league through innovation, data and integrity.”
Rodrigo Montoro, President of the LNB, added: “We are very pleased with this partnership. Sportradar is a global benchmark in innovation, data, and integrity, and this agreement will certainly enhance the development of Brazilian basketball starting next season.
“It is a partnership that strongly positions us in both the national and international markets and will bring significant benefits to our sport over the next four years.”
This announcement follows a series of recent developments involving Sportradar’s basketball and iGaming operations. The company recently expanded its partnership with Puerto Rico’s BSN to enhance integrity and analytics services, while also outlining plans to grow its iGaming division through its Playradar brand.
